Privacy Policy for Wyman Plumbing

Website: https://www.wymanplumbing.com/
Effective Date: August 25, 2026
Last Updated: August 25, 2026

Wyman Plumbing (“Wyman Plumbing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We are a local plumbing company serving the Bradenton area. This website is informational — you cannot buy anything or create an account on it — so what we collect is limited to what you send us and standard website measurement.

Categories of personal data we process

Information you give us, when you submit a contact or service request form:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Service address and mailing address, including city, state and ZIP code
  • Details of the plumbing work you are asking about, and anything else you choose to include

Information collected automatically when you visit:

  • IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time spent, referring website and general interaction data
  • Approximate location derived from IP address, at city level

Sensitive personal data: we do not collect any. We do not collect precise geolocation from your device, health information, biometric or genetic data, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or immigration status. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Purposes of processing

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, schedule and carry out plumbing work, provide estimates, keep records of jobs, maintain the security of the site, understand which pages are useful so we can improve them, and meet legal and tax obligations.

Cookies, analytics and advertising technologies

Full detail is in our Cookie Policy. In summary:

  • Google Analytics 4 (G-0Z08699NVC) measures how the site is used in aggregate. You can switch it off — see below.
  • Advertising and personalization storage is denied by default for every visitor. We instruct Google not to use advertising storage, not to personalize advertising, and not to collect advertising user data.
  • We use advertising technologies. A Google Ads tag (AW-953200129) and a Meta (Facebook) Pixel (216743622381259) are used to measure how well our advertising works and to reach people who have visited our website. Even with advertising storage denied, these tags transmit basic information to Google and Meta about a page being viewed. The Meta Pixel operates under Meta’s own terms and is not governed by the Google settings above. You can switch these off — see below.
  • Google Maps and AddToAny sharing buttons are embedded on some pages and set their own cookies.

We do not sell your personal data for money. We do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. We do, however, share limited information with Google and Meta through the advertising tags described above, which some privacy laws treat as a “sale” or as “sharing for targeted advertising” even where no money changes hands. You can opt out of that using the controls below, and you never have to give a reason.

Your privacy choices

You can turn website analytics and advertising technologies off for this site at any time, independently of each other. Your choices are stored in cookies on the device you are using, so you will need to set them again on another browser or device, or if you clear cookies.

Website analytics

Google Analytics 4, used to see which pages are read and whether they load properly. On by default.

Advertising technologies

The Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Google Ads tag. Advertising storage and personalization are already denied for every visitor; this also revokes the Meta Pixel so it stops sending events.

Checking…

Your choices are stored in small cookies on this device only, so you will need to set them again on a different browser or device, or if you clear your cookies.

You can also install Google’s Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which opts you out on every website. To limit advertising technologies generally, use your browser’s tracking protection or a tracker-blocking extension, and review your settings with Google and Meta.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal data and we do not trade it. We share it only with providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

  • Website hosting and security providers — to operate and protect the site
  • Analytics and advertising technology providers — Google and Meta, as described above
  • Email and communications providers — to receive and reply to your enquiry
  • Payment processors — where a payment is taken
  • Professional advisers, and legal or governmental authorities — where required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to do the work, keep proper business and tax records, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When it is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights, and how to exercise them

As a matter of practice, and regardless of where you live, we will honor a request to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, and confirm whether we are processing it
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete your personal information
  • Obtain a copy in a portable, readable format
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of sharing your information for advertising — use the controls above, which take effect immediately, or contact us and we will action it
  • Opt out of collection or processing of sensitive data — noting that we collect none
  • Withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing at any time

To make a request, contact us by email, post or telephone using the details below. Tell us what you want and give us enough information to find your records and confirm who you are. We will not ask for more personal information than we need to verify the request, and we will not charge you for it.

Our response. We will respond without undue delay and within 45 days of receiving your request. If it is complex we may take one further 15 days, and we will tell you within the first 45 days if we need to.

If you disagree with our decision, you may appeal by replying to our response, or by contacting us and saying you wish to appeal. We will review it and give you a written decision, with reasons, within 60 days.

Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

There is still no agreed standard for browser “Do Not Track” headers, and this site does not respond to them. If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, you can use the analytics control above to record the same preference for this site.

Email and text messages

If you receive marketing email from us you can unsubscribe using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send messages about work we are actually doing for you. Text messages are covered separately by our SMS Terms & Consent Policy.

Other websites

This site links to other websites, including social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we suggest you read the policy of any site you visit.

Children

This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once a year and will update it when our practices change. Changes are posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
