Cookie Policy

Wyman Plumbing (“Wyman Plumbing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. This policy sets out exactly which ones, what they do, and how to switch off the ones that are optional.
This site is informational. You cannot buy anything or create an account here, so the cookies involved are limited to measuring how the site is used and to services embedded in some pages.
There is no cookie banner
We removed the cookie consent banner from this website. Rather than ask you to dismiss a pop-up, we set the privacy-protective options by default and give you a permanent control on this page and in our Privacy Policy.
Advertising and personalization storage is switched off by default for every visitor. We instruct Google not to use advertising storage, not to personalize advertising, and not to collect advertising user data. You do not have to do anything to get that setting. You can also switch off our advertising technologies entirely using the control further down this page.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognize your device between pages and visits. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, do comparable things.
The cookies and technologies this site uses
Strictly necessary
Set by the website itself so that pages load, forms submit and the site stays secure. These cannot be turned off, and they are not used to track you across other websites.
- Session and security cookies set by WordPress, our website software
- A cookie recording your analytics choice, if you make one using the control below
Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-0Z08699NVC, to understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and whether pages load correctly. It typically sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id>, which distinguish one visitor from another and expire after about two years.
You can switch this off using the control below, and it stays off.
Advertising and measurement tags
We want to be straightforward about this, because it is the part most cookie policies gloss over. We use two advertising technologies, to measure how well our advertising works and to reach people who have visited our website:
- Google Ads tag (
AW-953200129). Advertising storage is denied by default, so it does not set advertising cookies. It does still send Google a basic, aggregated signal that a page was viewed. - Meta (Facebook) Pixel (ID
216743622381259), provided by Meta. It sets a_fbpcookie and reports activity to Meta. It is not governed by the Google settings described above and operates under Meta’s own terms.
You can switch these off using the control below. Opting out of advertising revokes the Meta Pixel’s consent so it stops sending events, and keeps Google’s advertising storage and personalization denied. To limit advertising technologies across all websites, also use your browser’s tracking protection or a tracker-blocking extension, and review your settings with Google and Meta.
Embedded third-party content
Some pages include content served by other companies, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies:
- Google Maps — the map showing our location
- AddToAny — the social sharing buttons
Your privacy choices
Use these controls to turn website analytics and advertising technologies off for this site, independently of each other. Your choices are stored in cookies on the device you are using, so you will need to set them again on a different browser or device, or if you clear your cookies.
Website analytics
Google Analytics 4, used to see which pages are read and whether they load properly. On by default.

Advertising technologies
The Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Google Ads tag. Advertising storage and personalization are already denied for every visitor; this also revokes the Meta Pixel so it stops sending events.
Checking…
Your choices are stored in small cookies on this device only, so you will need to set them again on a different browser or device, or if you clear your cookies.
You can also install Google’s own Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which opts you out of Google Analytics on every website you visit.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies, and restrict third-party cookies. The instructions are in the privacy or security settings of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or any other website working properly.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is still no agreed standard for browser “Do Not Track” headers, and this site does not respond to them. If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, you can use the analytics control above to record the same preference for this site.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once a year and update it when the technologies we use change. Updates are posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date.
